Mimi comes to us with more than 10 years of teaching experience in the disciplines of ballet, Pilates, jazz, pointe, ballroom, contemporary and worship dance, teaching students ages 2 1/2 to adult. Originally from Oklahoma, Mimi grew up training and performing with the dance ministry A.R.T.S. (Arts Revealing the Son), appearing in numerous praise and worship productions across the state, including a featured performance at the Oklahoma state capital. Mimi has earned an advanced STOTT Pilates matwork certification, with additional training in group instruction and scoliosis management. She has been certified to teach the Cecchetti Method of ballet through Grade III, has extensive training in Russian technique and danced four years with Ballet Oklahoma. Mimi has 10 years of ballroom dance experience, training at the championship level. Additionally, she is a three-time regional champion, sectional champion, U.S. medalist and former member of Team USA in ice dance.
